2013
Founded as Sarafan Company
Bohdan Prylepa founds a web studio – Sarafan Company. Websites, web services and the first clients that taught us how to ship.
2015
Rebranded to Prof-IT
The studio transforms into an IT company focused on fintech development – and takes the name Prof-IT. Payments, banking integrations and financial platforms become the core business.
2017
Blockchain integration
We start integrating blockchain technology into our products and go deep into the space: smart contracts, wallets, tokenization and crypto infrastructure.
2020
First own products
The first products launch under the company's banner as a development partner – including the first crypto exchange built end-to-end by our team.
2022
Global expansion
Offices open around the world – Dubai, Montenegro and Hong Kong. Legal, compliance and operations now work across multiple jurisdictions.
2024
Incubation program
We launch a dedicated incubation program under the Arctic brand – taking Web3 projects from concept to token launch with in-house marketing, community and fundraising.
2026
One brand: Prof-IT
The companies merge under a single brand – Prof-IT. Development, growth and incubation now live under one roof: 150+ people, 100+ projects delivered, 15M+ users attracted.

Our story

Prof-IT began in 2013 as a small development studio automating business processes for financial companies. The first exchanges and payment systems we built taught us a lesson that still defines us: in fintech, code is the easy part – what's hard is making a product survive real users, real volume and real regulators.

That lesson shaped how we grew. Instead of staying a contractor, we started launching products of our own – an exchange, wallets, trading platforms. Some failed, the strongest became standalone companies. Along the way we built everything a product needs around the code: marketing, community, legal, compliance and operations, all in-house.

Today Prof-IT is 150+ people across five countries, a portfolio of live products with millions of users – and the same appetite we had in 2013 for turning strong ideas into working businesses.

To turn complex financial technology into products people actually use – and to give strong ideas the engineering, growth and operations they need to become companies.

One team, full cycle. We don't hand off between agencies: the people who design the architecture sit next to the people who run the marketing and keep the product alive after launch.

Products prove themselves in production, not in pitch decks. We measure our work in live users, processed volume and products still running years after release.
I started this company with one belief: code should turn into businesses, not just deliverables. Thirteen years later, that's still the test for everything we take on – and the best proof isn't this website. It's that millions of people use what we've built without ever knowing our name.
